The PCs

Name: Rob
Sex: M
Race: Human
Class: Fighter

Rob

Rob is an avid computer gamer, and is mostly a fan of first person shooter(FPS) games. He is famous in various circles as a champion of the "point-n-shoot," and has won several FPS tournaments at his home town. Rob doesn't have much experience with role playing games, and finds the genre to be a bit boring.

Name: Lascher
Sex: F
Race: Drow
Class: Sorceress

Lascher

Lascher is the beautiful Dark Elven sorceress Rob had taken a droolin' to. At least until he found out that she was a character played by his old pal, Fred. He really wasn't too happy about that fact.

In game, Fred tries to play Lascher as a "hot, shexxy Fem-Fatale," the type of woman that uses her beauty to seduce men and turn them into sniveling, drooling heaps ready to do her every bidding. (For role playing purposes, of course!) This usually doesn't work out too well for her, as Rob keeps telling people that she's a guy...

The NPCs

The Shopkeeper

The Shopkeeper is the first Non Player Character Rob has met. The old man is a helpful customer service professional who stocks everything from basic healing items to armor and weapons. His is the basic model for all of the shopkeepers in MORP, though the developers have promised a future patch that will include a more diverse set of NPC shopkeeper avatars.

RL
Fred

Fred is Rob's friend and drinking buddy. He is a fanboy and otaku extraordinaire, and very proud of it. He has played every game ever released, and plans to do so until the day he dies. His favorite genre is the RPG, and tends to take the role playing a bit too seriously. Because of his 24 hour-a-day game habit/addiction, he really doesn't have much money to buy the latest software. Therego, he tends to procure the newest releases through... "shady" dealings.

Malcolm Sizer

Malcolm Sizer is MORP's Producer and Lead Designer. He is head of Meridian System's Entertainment Software Division, and is known as one of the best game designers in the buisiness. His award-winning games have garnered him the title "The Spielberg of Interactive Media." He developed MORP, promising to deliver his audience a game experience like no other.

Due to the pressures of launching the game, as well as the stress of finding the missing Development Copies, Mal has become very agitated and demanding of his staff. This is most evident from his numerous loud arguments with Nick Brady, the Lead Programmer.

Ted Chi

Ted Chi is a very talented artist whose life long dream was to work in the Game Industry. He has worked with Mal for years, being on the staff of several best-selling games. Many call Ted the real talent behind the collaboration, as he was responsible for most of the level and character designs of Mal's many titles. Although very talented, Ted is not very good at social communication. Therego, he lets Mal do all the talking and seems content to stay in the shadows.
